Wills can be complicated documents that intimidate us, due to their complexity as well as their reminder that we or someone we love will someday die. But writing a will does not have to be done by a lawyer. We can do so if we wish as well. But we must be very careful to do so according to specific rules within our country and/or province/state.
Make sure each of the wills you write (perhaps at different times in your life) is written y in an easy-to-understand manner by an adult who knows what he’s doing, is dated and signed, contain nothing illegal, doesn’t attempt to do anything they were not designed to do, and follows carefully established guidelines in your country for wills.
Also, make sure you pick the right type of will for you. Do you prefer oral or handwritten? Do you not want your loved ones to be able to see the will till after you die? Are you in the military? Are you married? Do you have children? Do you have someone trustworthy in mind who you would like to have read your will to your loved ones?
