In recent times we have seen growth in the claim culture. To stop the claim culture getting out of control, Lord Young is to investigate the industry. Although his report is not expected until later this year, early suggestions are that the way companies advertise for their work will be under close examination.

The number of firms advertising in recent times has increased and so has the pressure to regulate them. The legal industry has always been heavily regulated and this has been with the view of protecting the public. Making it look easy to claim, especially using terms like ‘no win no fee’ has attracted the wrong type of attention.

Other items on the agenda seem to be the far reaching approach of such a culture on schools and other charitable organisations.
